Q: I forgot my BIP-39 mnemonic (Meme ID). Can I recover it?
A: No. The mnemonic is only shown once when first generated, and is stored only on your device. We have no backup mechanism and no access to your mnemonic. Strongly recommended: write it down or screenshot it immediately and keep it in a safe place. If lost, your identity cannot be restored on another device.

Q: Does voice recognition (Whisper) require internet?
A: No. Voice recognition uses a local on-device Whisper model. All recognition is processed completely offline. A one-time model download (~200 MB–1 GB) is required on first use, after which it works fully offline.

Q: Where are my records? Can I export them?
A: All records are stored locally on your device. You can export your records (JSON format) from the Data Management section in the app. Export is a user-initiated action — the app never automatically uploads anything.

Q: Voice input recognition accuracy is low?
A: Recognition accuracy depends on: background noise, clarity of speech, and language selection. Use in a quiet environment and ensure the app has microphone permission. If accuracy is particularly poor for a specific language, please email us.

Q: Records disappeared after an update?
A: Normal updates should not erase data. If data has disappeared, it may be due to accidental deletion or abnormal storage behavior. Please email us immediately with your app version information so we can help diagnose.

Troubleshooting

  1. Voice recognition fails: Ensure microphone permission is enabled (iOS Settings > Privacy > Microphone)
  2. Model download fails: Ensure stable Wi-Fi and sufficient device storage
  3. Force quit and relaunch the app
  4. Check iOS version ≥ 17.0
